nutrition tracking mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use,
disclose, and safeguard your information when you use NutriSnap.
By using NutriSnap, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this

💪 2. Health & Fitness Data
We collect the following health and fitness data:
- Nutritional intake data: Calories, macronutrients (protein, carbohydrates,
fats), fiber, vitamins, and minerals from your food logs
- Food records: Photos of meals, food descriptions, portion sizes, and meal
times
- Body metrics: Height, weight, age, gender, and activity level for
calculating personalized nutrition goals
- Dietary preferences: Food allergies, dietary restrictions, and nutrition
goals
🔗 Health Connect / Apple Health Integration
With your explicit permission, we sync nutritional data with:
- Google Health Connect (Android): We write nutrition data (calories,
macronutrients) to Health Connect
- Apple Health (iOS): We write nutrition data to Apple Health
This integration is optional and requires your explicit consent. You can revoke access at any
time in your device settings.
How we use health data:
- To provide AI-powered food recognition and nutritional analysis
- To calculate and track your daily nutritional intake against your goals
- To generate personalized dietary recommendations via our AI Coach
- To display nutrition statistics and trends
👤 3. Personal Information
We collect:
- Account information: Email address, display name, profile photo (via Google
Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, or email registration)
- Usage data: App interactions, feature usage, and anonymized analytics (if
you opt-in)
- Device information: Device model, OS version, app version for
troubleshooting and compatibility
📱 4. Device Permissions
- Camera: Used to photograph food for AI nutritional analysis. Photos are
processed by our AI service and stored with your food logs.
- Photo Library: Used to select existing food photos for analysis.
- Microphone: Used for optional voice input to describe food items. Voice
recordings are transcribed and not permanently stored as audio.
- Notifications: Used to send meal reminders and nutrition tips (optional).

- Revoke permissions: Manage camera, microphone, and health data permissions
in your device settings
